Mosquito Management

Personnel from weed and pest control districts and businesses across Wyoming and surrounding states learned mosquito larval control and West Nile Virus vector species identification and prevention May 15-16 at UW. Participants had classroom and laboratory instruction but also hands-on trap setting. Thirty students attended the first day and 22 the second half day. The annual training is coordinated by UW Extension entomologist Alex Latchininsky and assistant entomologist Scott Schell.
