Gamma Sigma Delta honors outstanding students

Students in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources were recognized for their academic excellence during the Gamma Sigma Delta awards program in April.

The organization also presented Slater-area producers Cindy and Gregor Goertz the Distinguished Service to Agriculture Award (see accompanying story).

Outstanding student awards are:

  • Freshman – Ty Paisley, Wheatland, animal and veterinary science (AVS)
  • Sophomore – Hailey True, Casper, and Cedar Radosevich, McKinnon, both AVS
  • Junior – Ella DeWolf, Laramie, molecular biology and microbiology; Rachelle Tucker, Pierce, Nebraska, AVS
  • Senior – Ty Shockley, Wheatland, agricultural and applied economics; Sophia Kwende, Lone Tree, Colorado, molecular biology and chemistry
